Welcome to the website of
MVV-Schotland
On this website you will find all the information about my love of the Dutch football team MVV Maastricht, you will find pictures, trip reports, vidoes, a list of fixtures and results and memorabilia. This is a new website that i created in June 2011 primarily to provide an online record for myself of my favourite team and also one central place to display all my items of MVV memorabilia. I hope to add more to the site during the 2011-12 season, keep it updated regularly each week and develop it further.
My name is Ken Morton, i'm 39 years of age and i live in Aberdeen, Scotland. I had heard a little bit about MVV before from some of my friends but it wasn't until the 2008-2009 season when i made my first visit to the Guesselt Stadium. Although not a large crowd it was the atmosphere along with the passion and friendliness from the supporters which persuaded me to come back. I then began to take a real interest not just in MVV but the town of Maastricht. I started to learn the Dutch language and began to follow the rest of Dutch football.
As mentioned before, one of the reasons why i created this site is to display the many items of MVV memorabilia that i have. I collect football memorabilia and in total I have over 15,000 items from clubs all over the world. Programmes are my speciality but i also collect badges, teamsheets, tickets, cards, and any other football related item. I decided to increase my MVV memorabilia collection and will display all MVV items i have on this site. If you have any MVV memorabilia that you dont see on here and have it for sale or are just giving it away, please get in touch through my email address or get in touch if you just want to say hello send me a message info@mvv-schotland.com
I also have a blog which can be found by clicking here
